Sawmill

At CIB Wood, timber doesn't begin in the sawmill — it begins in the forest. Guided by a vision of sustainable forest management, we work with our own trees, carefully selecting which specimens make way for the continued growth of the forest. This thinning is not a waste stream, but the start of a new story.

The trees that are freed up are processed in our own sawmill. This way, we keep the entire chain in our own hands: from forest to plank. It allows us to give local wood a full-fledged place alongside our range of European and American timber.

With a processing capacity of 5,000 to 6,000 m³ of local wood per year, we are firmly committed to short supply chains and transparent provenance. Every piece of wood carries a story of origin, care and craftsmanship.

In addition, we also saw mature trees from third parties. If desired, the sawn wood can be returned to the client, ready for a new life in a new project.
